Go on a blind date with a book!
Thursday is World Book Day (7 March 2024). We are celebrating by inviting you to pop into the Library and go on a blind date with a book! All this week, borrow one of our specially wrapped, hand picked books we think you might love from the Library Atrium and discover something you might not otherwise ever have read. Let us (@uoplibrary) know on social media how your date went – was it a great match or an awkward flop?
If that’s not your thing, there’s also a display of global books in the Library Atrium. Lastly, if none of that appeals, you can tell us about your favourite book(s) on the Library blog Padlet, vote for your favourites that others have suggested, and we will look into buying the most popular.
