Building works this week

We’ve some minor building works this week. Most of the Library won’t be affected but I wanted to make you aware of what is happening so you can make an informed choice of where to study.

Noise disruption and stock restriction in Area 1C

Monday 16 June

Essential building maintenance is being carried out in Area 1C.  Please ask a member of staff if you need access to books in this area while they are are temporarily unavailable.

If you are distracted by the sound of drilling elsewhere in the Library, sound cancelling earplugs are available for free from staffed desks.

Lighting maintenance

Monday – Wednesday, 16-18 June

Some areas of the Library will be without artificial lighting while essential maintenance to the emergency lighting system is carried out.  Please ensure you are working in an area that is adequately lit for you to avoid eyestrain.
