A fresh perspective

When everything we read is told to us from a single point of view, it becomes difficult to discern the subtle and systematic bias we are being fed. Everyone is inherently biased, being possessed of limited knowledge, perspective, and experience, and so our only hope to gain a balanced and objective understanding of any subject is to read perspectives offered by disparate groups of people.

Recognising this need to surface marginalised voices, we have put together reading lists and directories of websites and databases from which you can find new perspectives on old topics. Check them out on our Diversifying and decolonising webpages.
