Public library popping up on campus
The tuk-tuk on campus - come say hello when it next visits!

Looking for fun fiction and pleasure reading? The public library tuk-tuk truck is visiting the campus twice in two weeks!

The public library offers a vast collection of fiction and popular nonfiction that goes far beyond what is taught at the University and therefore is beyond what the University Library can hope to offer. If you love listening to audiobooks (fact and fiction), browsing digital magazines (do check out our PressReader app as well!), and reading fiction in print or downloading novels to read on your ebook reader, you will love the free collections available from your local public library.

The public library tuk-tuk will be:

  • coming to Chaplaincy in St Paul’s Road from 11am – 3pm this Thursday 13 March with a collection of wellbeing books for Feel Good Fest;
  • parking on the plaza from 11am – 3pm next Tuesday 18 March and offering up a gorgeous selection of global titles.

Chat with the public library staff on campus and discover everything the public library offers.

Join the public library on campus (11am – 3pm, Tuesday 18 March) – sign up for access to their audiobook, ebook and digital magazine collections and get your very own public library card so you can borrow from their print book collections, all for free!

Not going to be on campus on Tuesday? No worries! You can sign up online now but you will still need to pick up your public library card from one of their many branches.

Assistant Librarian (Promotions) at the University Library. An enthusiastic advocate of libraries, diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice for all, inside and outside the workplace.
