Meet the travelling tuk-tuk!

Meet the travelling tuk-tuk!
The tuk-tuk on campus - come say hello when it next visits!

Your public library is coming to you – say hello for free and enjoy audiobooks, ebooks and print books!

Looking to read more for pleasure? Fan of fiction? Love listening to audiobooks? You’ll love your local public library!

You can join Portsmouth public libraries for free as a student (or a local, even if you are reading this and aren’t a student!) and get access to their vast collections of fiction, audiobooks and a diverse range of nonfiction books and electronic magazines on everything from your favourite hobbies to biographies, philosophy and even textbooks.

Feel Good Fest (Thursday 13 May)

Joining the public library is now easier than ever because the public library is coming to you! The public library tuk-tuk book van will pull up outside Chaplaincy in St Paul’s Road from around 11 am – 3 pm on Thursday 13 May, offering a selection of books to support your wellbeing and a free chance to join and enjoy their full range of online goodies as part of Feel Good Fest.

The public library offers a huge selection of audiobooks, ebooks and digital magazines as well – simply pick up your library card from the tuk-tuk on campus and enjoy all their online fact and fiction reading without ever visiting a branch!

Global Week (Tuesday 18 May)

Can’t make it to campus for 13 May? No worries! The tuk-tuk returns to the plaza outside Ravelin Sports Centre on Tuesday 18 May, bringing you a whole new selection of international bestsellers and other books for Global Week.

Stop by the Library Atrium at the same time and share a global message of goodwill with your fellow students!

Sign up online (no need to wait!)

Of course, you don’t have to wait until Wednesday to join the public library. You can sign up right now online using the link below and begin enjoying their electronic books and magazines and listening to their audiobooks right now, all for free. What are you waiting for?! You can even pick up your public library card from the tuk-tuk when it trundles to the campus if you don’t want to visit your local public library.
