Computer network maintenance (13-16 December)

Computer network maintenance (13-16 December)
Bring your USB-C socketed device or borrow a university laptop, plug in and play using our massive curved screen and desktop peripherals.

From 1 am on Friday 13 December, the university computer network in the Library will become temporarily unavailable while Library and Information Services (LIS) carry out a network upgrade essential to ensure we continue to offer you a fast and reliable computer network.  The University computer network will be undergoing maintenance until 8 am on Monday 16 December.

Please plan your work around this potential disruption. We’ve timed it to fall when the fewest people are expected to be using the computer network but if you are working over that weekend, please save your work regularly.

In particular, if you have assignment submissions due over this weekend, please try to hand them in on or before Thursday 12 December to avoid the expected disruption, which might interfere with the hand-in process.

If you have any questions or concerns, our IT Helpers will be happy to help.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
