Unpacking Outside In World with Greta Friggens

If you missed our Greta Friggens’ (Faculty Librarian, CCI) webinar introducing the history, purpose and relevance to teaching and research of the prestigious Outside In World collection of children’s books in translation, you can catch up with it here.

Drop in on the collection

Don’t miss our Outside In World drop-ins on 31 July and 9 August. Book your free place through Eventbrite using the links below! At these events, you can meet Greta and colleagues in person, explore the collection, and chat about how you might use it in your teaching and research. On both days, you can also bring children in for storytimes. Of course, you can come browse and borrow books from the collection at any time the Library is open.

Members of the public are very welcome, and anyone can join as an external member of the Library for free and borrow books, including books from this collection. If you are not currently a member of the University, please bring photographic ID and sign in at the Library reception. Children must be signed in and accompanied at all times. Full details for visitors are available on the Library website.
