Drop in on the wonderful world of Outside In World: Children’s Books in Translation

The University Library invites you to find out about (and visit) this wonderful collection, Outside in World: Children’s Books in Translation by joining us at one of our upcoming drop-ins. Discover this prestigious collection of international books that have been translated from their original languages into English. Situated near the Library CafĂ©, we actively encourage the use of this unique collection to support research and teaching, community outreach, and reading for pleasure, which you are welcome to visit at any time.

You can explore and borrow books from the collection at any time but at these drop-ins, you can meet our friendly librarians. Sign up through Eventbrite using the link below for our 31 July or 9 August drop-ins.

Feel free to bring your children to explore the collection and enjoy a children’s storytime event! If you bring children, we only ask that you sign them in at the Library Reception desk and accompany them at all times. Further information is available in the FAQs below and on the University Library website.

Members of the public are very welcome – alone or with children. Members of the public need to bring photographic ID and sign in at Reception. Children all need to be signed in and accompanied at all times.
