Family fun with the University Library

This month we have taken some of our wonderful Outside In World Children’s Books in Translation collection out of the library to a fantastic event organised by our Global team here at Portsmouth University.  Also at the event were  Hive Portsmouth, Library of things/ Repair café, RSPB, Portsmouth Public Library Service, and Advice Portsmouth – please check out the great work these organisations carry out for our local community.

We shared our beautiful books with students and their young families and we had lots of fun making bookmarks and art work.  This was a great opportunity for us to get to know you and your families better and for you to ask us anything too! There will be a Christmas Crafternoon Tuesday 5th December 2023 12pm to 3pm so come along and enjoy some seasonal fun. More details to follow!

Special thanks to Walker Books and Chicken House Books for the lovely stickers, bookmarks and posters they sent to us, and also to Gecko Press, Simon and Schuster and Walker Books (again) for their fantastic free online resources.
