Online APA referencing appointments now bookable

Online APA referencing appointments now bookable

We know referencing can be tricky, which is why we like to offer you help at the immediate point of need, via chat, email and our library skills drop-ins. But we also realise that sometimes a quick conversation isn’t quite enough, and you’d like to sit down and talk through referencing with someone who can explain it in a bit more depth, or look at a few more examples.

That’s why we’re really excited to introduce you to something new, which we hope you will find useful.

We’re making our APA referencing experts available for bookable 30 minute online appointments!

We won’t be able to proofread your work or your referencing, but we will be able to look at any reference or citation examples you are having trouble with, help identify the correct referencing format to use for specific sources, and answer questions about referencing in general. Sessions will be hosted on Google Meet, so you won’t need to worry about installing anything and they’ll be easy to join.

If you’d like to spend 30 minutes with a referencing expert online, from the comfort of your own home or between lectures, click here to book your slot.

Our calendar is now taking bookings a few weeks ahead, but don’t forget that you don’t have to wait to ask a question about referencing. You can pop in and speak to us between 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday without an appointment, or use online chat to talk to us and get help 24/7.

If you’re using OSCOLA referencing and would like help with this, you can still use our library skills drop-in sessions, email, and our online chat service, as well as the dedicated drop-in sessions in your department with your Faculty Librarian. Click here for information about OSCOLA referencing sessions.
