The wonderful world of debranding
Debranded logos - denuded of their former contours, textures and finesse in favour of more rapid mobile loading speeds

The world is being led by technology; mobile technology to be precise. Library resources and website are designed ‘mobile first’ – with the assumption that if it doesn’t work perfectly on a mobile device, loading quickly over a limited broadband connection and displaying attractively with intuitive and easy-to-use controls, that no-one will use it. It turns out that even the look and feel of brands are being simplified in a process that has been dubbed “debranding” in order to make them load faster and display more clearly on small mobile screens.
