Here today, gone tomorrow

Did you know that 155,000 people go missing every year just in the UK? That’s almost 1 in every 430 people who wander off and disappear from the social radar every year, some never to be heard from again. In this new podcast series, police and other safeguarding practitioners and academics take turns discussing the phenomena of missing persons, starting with the most basic questions: what it means for a person to go missing, how a “missing” person is defined in law and what impact this has, who goes missing, and why?
