Second in this week’s tour of things we just found out and can scarcely believe, according to Lori Dorn of the Laughing Squid blog, this cut scene from a 1976 Sesame Street episode was deemed too scary for children. For those who are too young to remember it, Sesame Street was… oh, still is, an American children’s educational TV show. I think we’re all old enough to watch this without believing that the kindergarten teacher in green make-up is actually a witch. The black bloke holding the broom on the other hand … well, the jury’s out on that one.
