Global Week returns

Global Week is back, starting 7 March 2022! This year you can enjoy an introduction to global perspectives on cosmology to a seafront walk with fish and chips, introductory tasters to everything from Bollywood dancing to Russian and Cornish, as well as the links between optimism and mathematics and ecology and interior design. The Library is even hosting one session on Tuesday 8 March, exploring the University Archive and Map Collections. There truly is something here for everyone.

There are also the usual talks on overseas study opportunities through Erasmus+, an opportunity to make friends with someone far removed from where you live, and join together daily for the “Spiritual experience of prayer” each lunchtime. If you can tear yourself away from the other fun things happening at the same time, that is!

Book now!

Global Week has a blended delivery approach this year, with around half the sessions being offered online and half in person. Check out what’s happening and where on the Global Week webpage now and plan your entertainments.
