Say hello to the world as it really looks

A new, free world map is now available. Its equal area projection shows countries and continents at their true size relative to one another. On this map, Africa is accurately shown to be 14 times the size of Greenland, far larger than it appears on the classical Mercator projection.

We really like the way you can download different versions of the map that put Africa/Europe, the Americas, or East Asia/Australia in the centre.
