Have you discovered everything you can do in your library yet?

Vending machinesWelcome to your new library!  We are open and here to help you 24/7 with online chat and phone support for all your library and IT needs.  Don’t miss the toilets on every floor and drinking fountains near the entrance, Postgraduate Study Suite and second floor toilets or the drink and snack vending machines tucked around the corner from the Library café.

This video describes the different ways you can get help in the Library.

Have you tried all the different facilities we have to offer?  Putting aside all that we have online, here are the main services (beyond the obvious – expert help, desktop computers, books and study space) we have in the Library.

Borrow and return day or night

Designed to meet your needs in collaboration with the students who have gone before you, the library offers a flexible, comfortable and varied study environment designed to suit everyone, whether you want to study in a booth with your friends or escape all distractions and work silently on your own.  Our self-service kiosks mean you can borrow and return books whenever you visit the library, and anything you borrow renews itself automatically.

Reserve everything on loan to others

If you need a book and no copies are available, you can reserve a copy and we will email you when it comes back.  This normally takes a week at most.  Please open your library emails to make sure someone else has not reserved one of your books.

Borrow laptops to use in the library

You can even borrow high spec laptops to use anywhere in the Library.
