Maintaining perspective

Perspective is always important, particularly when it comes to revision and exam time.   This article from The Telegraph tells a cautionary tale.  For revision, as with drinking and gambling, if you cannot stop when you feel you want or ought to, it might be time to talk to someone.

There is the Wellbeing Café in Café Coco on late Wednesday afternoons, 4.00-5.30 pm during term-time;

Chaplaincy are available to and for everyone – a religious inclination is entirely optional (they are also on Facebook);

UPSU Student Advice Service;

and if despair grips you at dead of night (or any other time), click here for links to more immediate help for you and any friends that have become a cause for concern.

Finally, Pablo Penguin is usually available for a cuddle during normal Library staffed hours (8am – 9pm Monday – Friday and 10am – 4pm at weekends) should the need arise.  Please form an orderly queue…
