Planned group study rooms closure (Monday, 13 February 2017)
Information Services will be carrying out essential maintenance on the plasma presentation screens in group study rooms 1.3-1.5 and 2.7-2.9. This firmware upgrade will improve the reliability and usability of the screens. This work is scheduled for the morning of Monday 13 February 2017. IS have advised that the time required to upgrade each screen is not known, however, and so these rooms have provisionally been closed from 0800-1700. This will be reviewed as the work progresses and each group study room will become bookable again as soon as its plasma screen has been updated. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Alternative bookable group study rooms
The Meeting Room and group study rooms 1.2 and 2.6 remain available. More bookable rooms are available for both individual and group study in the Student Union, next door to the Library. Please ask at the Union Shop for details of availability and to make a booking.
