Please respect the right to silent study

librarian shhh photoThank you to everyone working silently on the top floor – it is great to see so much dedicated study, and the top floor is usually a comfortable and peaceful place to learn.   We have, however, had clients ask us to take action against noise on the top floor.

Please respect those who want to study without noise and distractions and help us make the Library a useful place to learn for everyone, however they want to study.  We have the power to exclude persistent offenders from the Library for 24 hours.  It has been a long while since we have had to exercise this power but we felt we should give everyone fair warning…
