Free entry to Charles Dickens’ birthplace this Saturday
To mark the 203rd anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens in Portsmouth, the Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum is offering free admission this coming weekend. On Saturday, there will be special events throughout the day, including wreath laying with the Lord Mayor and extract readings from some of Dickens’ works to celebrate Dickens’ birthday.
The museum will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm, with free entry all weekend.
