Celebrating a year of self-service

The introduction of self-service kiosks a year ago has cut the time you spend waiting to borrow and return books.  Self-service has proved popular, with 83.53% of all books borrowed and returned each month through self-service kiosks in 2013.  If we include renewals, the average rises to 88.88% of all transactions.  This has freed staff who used to spend much of their time issuing and returning books to provide other service to support you, including providing roaming support around the Library to bring help wherever you need it.

You can read about many of the other changes your Library has made to support you under Student Led Change.
