Reverspective
TOTD was at the British Library last month and particularly enjoyed seeing a work by the artist Patrick Hughes, who specialises in what he calls “reverspectives”. These are three-dimensional paintings that appear flat when viewed from the front, but as you move from side to side the painting exhibits a staggering illusion of depth and shifting perspective.
